Unit 21 discusses about conditionals and reported speech. Conditionals are grammar structures used when we talks about a condition or action and its consequence. Conditionals can be divided into 5 types: zero, first, second, third, and mixed conditionals. Zero conditional is used for a condition and its definite result while first conditional form is for an action that has a future implication, Second conditionals refer to a hypothetical or impossible situation while third conditional is used for an action and its consequence that could have happened in the past. The unit explains in details on when to use the 5 forms of conditionals with examples and methods of teaching them to students in class. Reported and direct speech are also presented within the unit. When we change a direct speech into a reported one, we need to alter pronouns, time expressions, and verbs through \"back shifting\" within a sentence.
