Having already learnt the basics behind the tense forms in Unit 4 this unit was not too difficult. Having said that, it was interesting to really get to tackle the usages of the various past tenses of the English language. I had never really thought deeply about the differences between the different forms, and so I took pleasure in learning exactly what makes the Past Continuous form of a verb different from the Past Perfect Continuous form. Furthermore, I thought the Activate Stage Ideas revolving around story telling could make for a series of good lesson plans where the Students choose a theme and rewrite it each week adding in the new tense forms that are taught.
