Unit 3 covers information related to how your course would typically go, including the use of the different types of tests you can give to students before, during, and after the course in completed, as well as how to design a syllabus that would be most effective for your class. This unit also covers the different types of learner levels you could encounter, whether it be a small group or a large group, large being 50+ students; not only the types of learners but how to go about getting the best assessment as to what they are looking for/needing to learn from your class via a needs analysis. I've learned that having the needs analysis as well as the level test (test that shows each students current proficiency in English) is crucial before you begin to group your students(if you are able to) and create your syllabus for your class(es). Having this information beforehand can really help you narrow down your subjects to teach and maximize your time with your student's learning.
