What I enjoyed about this lesson was that it allowed a chance to review and go back onto the material in Unit 2. While keeping in mind the three difference phases (engage, study, activate), I was able to think of how these phases could improve, if not enhance my lesson planning. The importance of order is crucial in exexcuting any lesson. For example, you can't start off with a debate and then do a fill in the blank exercise. The best approach, as written in the unit, is to go through the phases, find ways to get your students excited and curious (start with a discussion or review some vocab that is appropriate for their level/what they are learning), followed by eliciting as much information from them as possible, drilling, followed with some activities (fill in the blank, create some sort of presentation), and finally do presentations (or other games following if time permits). Following a general guideline such as this seems to be the best approach for any lesson.
