This unit is very straight forward and offers essential information in creating a structured planning aid, working document, and record. The planning aid helps the teacher assess what will be taught and offers some guidelines of points they wish to accomplish by the end of lesson. This planning aid can also work as a working document that can be an anchor for the teacher in the duration of the lesson. Finally, it is a good record to have so that the teacher may assess the progression of the class and tangibly see what the class has already accomplished.This unit covered the different forms of conditional speech and how speech changes when it is reported. The difference between the second, third and mixed conditionals caused me some troubles as they are very similar and can be confused quite easily. There are slight differences and even as a native speaker it is tough to understand when to use which conditional. As far as reported speech goes, it is quite straight forward however it will be somewhat tricky to teach to EFL students. Thankfully there is plenty of information in the unit that covers this.
