A good teacher is always ready for some unexpected changes, that`s why it is crucial to have a lesson plan and an ability to adapt being flexible and to understand students` needs. It is also important to make lesson plans simple and understandable because you might need someone to replace you. All equipment and additional elements should be ready and checked before the class begins. A lesson plan is a record can be used after a long time, so it gives an opportunity to remember what has happened or been taught in the past. This unit discusses the importance of lesson plans and how to make a lesson plan. I personally did not use lesson plans while I was working in my kindergarten as I had been teaching the same book for 10+ years and already knew what worked and what didn't. At my next job I did make lesson plans as it was required and I felt it was a great help I did notice that I am missing some details in my lesson plan that this unit suggests I use such as 'Anticipated problems and teachers aims etc. so thank you for the new information.
