I think it is very useful to see two of the same lessons taught in two completely different ways. It's so important to always show enthusiasm and passion for teaching and to incorporate all the students. The first lesson was so frustrating to watch. The kids had absolutely no idea what was going on and nobody would want to sit through that. The second lesson was interactive and fun, it's a great lesson and easy to make engaging. The students definitely gained more from the second lesson than the first.very difficult unit, had real trouble with the phonemic symbols, or alphabet, and for the life of me I still don't understand it fully, or do I feel it was covered well enough in the unit, as I can see no formulas or criteria for getting to where you need to be to answer questions in the test. on the other hand looking at the words you can see what the phonemic is trying to ask, but I will need to find a way of perfecting translation somehow, if I am to pass on this knowledge in my teaching.regards Rob
