As a general overview, this section is essentially about what traits and decisions makes for a good student and good educator. If there is anything in this section that I disagree with, it would be that I don't necessarily believe there is such a thing as a bad student. Perhaps there are difficult or misunderstood students that lacks motivation or attention. This unit helped me to understand what tactics to use in a position of authority to both control or manage the classroom as well as encourage a thirst for knowledge. Patience, I believe, is an essential trait in encouraging students to put fourth an effort towards learning. This unit discussed how stringent adherence to overcorrecting can be discouraging to learners (particularly young ones). This section additionally emphasizes the importance of not specifically giving lectures but actively participating in active learning to create an atmosphere of positive learning.
