This lesson felt pretty heavy on a lot of material I never knew of before. It was fun learning more in depth about the anatomy and physics of our speech and phonics. Although aware of the phonemic chart from the dictionary I'm surprised it's not something taught in school. It's not natural since it isn't used in the written English language, but it is such a helpful chart to identify definitive sounds or pronunciations per word. This will be a lesson I will constantly re-read in the future.Unit 19, Teaching Special Group- This topic is useful as it gives a general view on difference group of students learning English. Everyone has their own intention to learn English. Some learn English to improve themselves, some learn English because they are living in an English native speaking country such as English, USA, Australia and New Zealand. Some learn English because of their nature of the work or business that they need to communicate in English with others like in a hotel industry.
