During this section of the course I have learnt the qualities that are required to be a good teacher. The different types of teaching roles that are carried out in the classroom, for example the role of an organiser is one of the most important as it involves giving instructions to the class, organising groups and pairs, planning activities and providing students with feedback.
Throughout this section I have recognised the importance of being adaptable in the classroom and using different teaching roles when necessary.
I have also learnt what makes a good learner, for example they must have willingness to learn and ask questions.
I have also learnt about the different types of pupils. For example pupils with a long history of classroom experience have more expectations whereas pupils of a younger age group have less classroom experience therefore are more open minded to new approaches of learning.
