The English conditional and reported speech sentences can be quite confusing for foreign language learners. It has been considered the hardest English grammatical rules. The only way for us, EFL students, to understand and master these rules is to memorize them and practice using them as much as we can. The explanation of unit 16 introduced and simplified the teaching methods. I really appreciate this unit for its systematic details and clarification.This unit, as the one before, treats about talking and writing. This time, it is more detailed. The strategies proposed are very interesting and the example are clear as always. It showed how to concentrate in the different parts of a speech or of a text. The section with games was very interesting. Games are a very good way to get the students to communicate. Also, the advises to help students who are afraid to talk will be very useful in the future.
