Managing the classroom could easily be the most difficult challange posed in teaching. It will be interesting to see the line between managing the class and taking full control over it. My fear is that I will be too lenient and allow for the classroom to become too disruptive, especially with problem students; however, the techniques covered in this unit seem most likely to prevent most disruptive behavior by preventing it from happening in the first place by keeping students engaged and managing the classroom.In this unit, I have learned the different ways of evaluating students in a course. I have learned about placement tests which are used by teachers to determine which class a student needs to be placed in. There are progress tests which are used periodically to determine how much of the language that a student has remembered and how much they have forgotten. Diagnostic tests are given at the start of a course to see how much the students already know. Practice tests are given before an external exam to prepare.
