This unit goes over the use of equipment and teaching aids. The unit lists the different teaching equipment, both older technology like overhead projectors and cassettes but also newer technology like interactive whiteboards and dvds. The unit also breaks down the pros and cons of each type of equipment and how to best utilize them for the best of the students. The unit also gives an extensive library of online resources that can be used to assist the teacher. This unit has given me a plethora of new knowledge on how to use both older technology I may not be used to but may have to use depending on my school's financial situation, to various ideas on how to use technology I am already used to. The large resource library given at the end of the unit will be very useful for me since I knew of some of these websites but not all of them. I plan to use them the best I can for my teaching.
