In this unit, I was able to learn about vocabulary, grammar and functions. The way these should be taught and examples of how to make it easier for the students to remember certain vocabulary was very useful to learn. I was shown how to use techniques to present language structures and in which order to present them depending on the type of ESA structure I want to use, i.e, boomerang or patchwork and so on. I still need to work on remembering when to use which method, but this Unit was very helpful in helping me understand these structures more.Evaluation of students capabilities is important, as it let's teacher know which of the student's skills are lacking and which are developed, while it allows students a concrete way to see their own progress. In formal educational institutions, teachers must be able to conduct placement and diagnostic examinations at the beginning of courses, and conduct progress examinations throughout the course. Teacher's should also be prepared to conduct practice examination, while also informing students of the possible external examinations and their uses.
