This unit covered the tenses of English words and their respected uses. I was happy to find that the present perfect tense unit was broken down so clearly because I definitely feel that this would be a tricky idea to explain to someone who is not a native English speaker. This unit also described the way each tense is used in affirmative, negative, and question forms. I thought it was very thorough in the way it was formatted, and I made several charts to use as an example when I teach my future students about the English tenses! After completing this unit it has become clear to me the difference between present perfect and present perfect continuous, which was not entirely clear before. An example of this is the sentence \"I havent eaten for 24 hours\" (present perfect) versus \"I've been hungry all day\" (present perfect continuous). Even just reviewing and trying to comprehend this myself has been difficult, so the main thing to learn from this unit is how to teach using tenses in fluent and casual conversation must be taught thouroughly and precisely.
