Future tenses can be very challenging for new learners. The use of the present simple and present continuous tenses to explain future events can be very confusing for students. It is important to use many activities to reinforce the grammar usage. Some of the activities include: predicting future events, expressing future plans/dreams, using timelines to explain when certain events happened, and songs. It is also important to identify students errors and address them to avoid confusion.This lesson goes over the uses of books while learning a language. While it is a good reference and can add to the class, it is not what you need to base your whole class off of, with that it is definitely not advised to use only the book during classes. It is also important to evaluate your audience and think of the price range, the topics, and if the book will be relevant and affordable. Teachers still need to be creative and create their own materials and use authentic materials as well.
