This unit covered the different types of future tenses: simple, continuous, perfect, perfect continuous, going to future, and the present tenses that can be used for future meanings. The unit examined their [the types of future tenses] forms, usages, common mistakes associated with them, and gave suggestions for teaching activities. I found this unit to be much more challenging than previous grammar and tense related units because there are so many different kinds of future tenses and present tenses used for future meanings and they are all very similar and can be used similarly. I learned how to teach these different forms of future tenses and they were taught to me in the unit in a very concise and understandable way. I can appreciate the example sentences and know how to structure example sentences when I teach this same grammar to my future English students.
