This video illustrated the importance of the teacher's behavior in the classroom. I saw two different types of teachers- in the first video, the teacher seemed uninterested and condescending. he paced the room, and intimidated students. This hindered his ability to teach, and their ability to learn. He didn't clearly state instructions or project his voice. In the second video, I saw a teacher who was excited to be there. He was warm and smiled at the students, and took the time to get to know their names. This showed compassion, and dedication to teaching. The students were more comfortable and more willing to participate because of this. Overall, I learned in Unit 10 that the teaching style, lesson structure, mannerism of teacher, and etc. all go hand in hand. I also was able to empathize with the students because I could feel their frustration in video one.
