I like thinking of the four basic skills in any language: reading, writing, listening, talking. These are the four skills that, as an English teacher, you will need to equally nurture. Thinking of them as skills that either receive information or produce it is helpful. It is really important to consider predictive skills because learners of English might not have the same predictive knowledge as us, and they might not understand something based on the specific context. This unit features both future tenses and present tenses with future applications. Other than the main forms and usages, the overall lesson was particularly focused upon the confusion between a same function with different intentions as well as the incertitude caused by a patchwork of mixed tenses (future + past --> e.g. My brother says he'll have completed his homework by tomorrow). This clarification has been helpful as I don't consider I have ever been taught this.
