The different kinds of ESA structures seem to be very effective and helpful with the teaching of new vocabulary to students. Also, I now know the points to cover when teaching new vocabulary such as the usage and meaning, as stated in this unit. Rather than just blindly teaching new words to students, I feel that helping them understand the important parts of what they are learning can be a lot more helpful than giving them many words to memorise without any relation.It goes without saying that a student is severely limited if they cannot properly pronounce the sounds of English. Therefore, as a future instructor who wants to be as effective as possible, I should be equipped with the knowledge of how to teach pronunciation. That's what this unit was about. Whether it was how to voice an individual sound or how to carry the message in a given sentence using intonation, this unit was chock full of methods I can use with my students.
