This unit was great, the information provided was detailed and explained a variety of aspects that go into a lesson. There are many things that a teacher must be aware of in order to get the best from their students. I found the section on table placement particularly interesting as I have some classes with which I have found purposefully changes to the grouping of activities and the way the classroom is set out impact on their motivation and attitude to learning English. I found the point about being aware of a students' nationality to be quite interesting as it was something I had never taken into account (mostly because my students are all the same nationality). However, it made sense to me to mix students based on nationality to be able to create natural intrigue and subsequently talking points more fluidly into English learning.
