This section provided good insight into some situations which I had not considered. It was a good section because the course is passing on experience prior to me being in the classroom. I would have appreciated a video to expand on some of the ideas.
This section could have been significantly longer or more in depth because these are important issues. Perhaps the only way to learn is to encounter these difficult situations in person but more preparation would have been appreciated.In this unit I studied the four present tenses, the present simple, present perfect, present continuous and present perfect continuous. An overview of the grammatical structure of each tense was provided, then typical usage examples, common student mistakes and ideas for implementation in the classroom. Examples of each tense used in an affirmative, negative and question form helped give me a frame of reference, being able to apply these tenses to sentences I speak on a daily basis.
