This unit covered lesson planning and how to teach new vocabulary or lesson structures, it didn't really go in to terrible detail, but instead revisited the esl teaching structures and what would be considered good ways to teach vocab and new structure in correspondence with the phase activate, engage, study. For example in the engage phase we could ask students to bring in a house to teach house vocab, we could have a discussion, we could do scenario building, we could use pictures, and more. In the study phase could study the vocab inside the house, like names of house hold items or rooms, We could do gap fills, information gaps, sentence word order activities, sentence building, etc., and for activate we could put there new knowledge of the house vocabulary to use such as in role-play, communication games, story building, etc.
