In this unit we watch two video lessons.
The first one was the demonstration of what not to do in a class as a teacher.
You can see the importance of having a warm, friendly, and supportive attitude as well as making sure you have everything you need for the class.
I understand that this was all acting but because the person who played the teacher was so good and convincing, it was quite offensive to watch.
You see the same teacher with a completely different attitude, and there for a completely different class in the second video.
He has much warmer attitude, speaks with louder and clearer voice.
It helps students to feel comfortable and they can understand him better.
Because his direction is clear, they can work better during the study phase.
They are not intimidated so they remain positive throughout the entire class.
