I have taken several grammar courses that deal with teaching ESL/ESL students. The one of took before THIS course actually left me very confused at a lot of things with grammar (and I love teaching grammar.) However, I was happy to find that the video and reading for this unit really helped me understand some questions I had. For example, I have a hard time with verbs sometimes because of the difference between past simple and past participle. I also struggle with transitive and intransitive. The explanation given to me that transitive verbs \"transition\" me to another object, and \"intransitive\" doing the opposite, was so easy to understand. I loved that there was such a focus on comfort and understanding that everything doesn't make sense in English grammar. I feel more comfortable teaching classes on grammar again.
