This section would most likely be the most difficult for the learner. The modal verbs, for example, can be quite the challenge. They can add so much meaning to a sentence, but their use is oftentimes very subtle. Even native speakers have difficulty with this concept on occasion. Of course, this is not helped by the fact that such a lesson would be made even more difficult by \"can\" and \"could\". For most usages, the two words words are used for pretty much the same, with \"could\" being the past tense of \"can\", but there are times where there usage differs, though this usually only applies to levels of formality in requests. The same situation also exists for \"may\" and \"might\". Because of this, extra care should be taken when teaching this part of the English language. Perhaps the best way to teach it would be to take things slow, and perhaps only introduce a small number of modal verbs at a time, much like the video example from around unit 10 that only focused on \"can\" and \"can't\
