Although this is a fairly \"simple\" subject for an English Native Speaker, I found it to be confusing at times. Usually, when I speak, I don't think about why I'm using the tense I am. I just use it. The questions in this exam and the Unit itself definitely had be second-guessing myself. Sometimes, it was difficult to differentiate between the tenses. I can understand how this would be confusing for ESL student. When teaching this form, although basic, it will take great detail and time to make sure the students understand clearly. These forms are often used when speaking and writing and are an important part of basic understanding.
