The unit comprises the theories, methods, and techniques of teaching English in foreign country(English as a foreign language). I studied many methods ranging from grammar-translation to lexical approach, but no one technique is absolutely better than the the other. One must give special consideration to the needs of the students in choosing a method.
One important methodology the course focused on is the Engage-Study-Activate(ESA),it is effective and logical for new teachers to learn and apply.
Finally i understood the aim of giving feedback is to encourage self-awareness and improvement which must be done in a positive way.
