This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
This unit is all about the Present Tenses including the simple, continuous, perfect and, perfect continuous tenses. After struggling with the various aspects of the tenses in other language classes, it was interesting to relate the tenses in my first language. I never noticed just how small of a variation helps to identify and use the different aspects of the present tense as I grew up speaking English. While reviewing the tenses that I barely remember from school was great, the most beneficial knowledge I pulled from this unit was the understanding of just how little difference there is between the tenses and just how that effects the students while learning them.
