Unit 4 outlines the four aspects of the English present tense: present simple, present simple continuous, present perfect and present perfect continuous. The form, including grammatical construction and fundamental rules, as well as the usage of each tense are explained, followed by a discription of typical student errors and Activate stage teaching ideas. Examples are given throughout which facilitate the understanding of the nuances of the different tenses.
