This unit consisted of Conditional and Reported speech. Conditional speech are sentences containing 'if' or similar expressions such as 'when' which refer to past present and future possibilities. There are two clauses the 'if' clause and the mail clause and either can come in the first of a conditional sentence. The five main conditionals are as follows: Zero conditionals, first conditionals, second conditionals , third conditionals and mix conditionals. Reported speech: When we turn direct questions into reported speech( indirect speech) the following takes place: the question word(when, where, what, why, how... etc) but the form of the verb changes into a positive form the question mark being omitted in reported questions. The verb changes into ask, enquirer. Thanks you for all the extra teaching ideas- this is very helpful as always.
