This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:

This unit covered a lot of ground regarding the teacher's role as a manager of the classroom. The teacher as a manager must ensure that things are organized in the most efficient way for a given activity or situation. This includes how students are physically positioned, as well as the way they are grouped for an activity. Depending on the needs of the situation, the teacher must make a decision on how to balance STT and TTT, and keep the lesson engaging and productive regardless of circumstance. This also extends to how the teacher presents themselves to maintain rapport, and how they may go about disciplining a class in the event that they, or some students becomes unruly. If the class is not managed properly, the learning environment is hurt for the students, and this lesson helps me to understand the right way to manage things.
