This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
In Unit 12 I appreciated the sample lesson and activity ideas. The repetition of such information throughout the course to this point has been useful, as these suggestions can be adapted for different language goals and lessons. In this unit I also like the distinctions made between speaking and listening activities (and potential problems), as well as the focus on accuracy vs. fluency. I feel that writing is an important part of the TEFL classroom, and writing can be incorporated into activities in a number of different ways (\"Write Right\" is one useful series of writing textbooks). I agree that creative writing can be fun and useful; I would add that diary/journal writing (once a week for weekend homework) can also be beneficial.
