Unit 5 explains why and how to write a lesson plan, and what to include in it. It then describes how to monitor the plan during and after the lesson in order for the teacher to keep improving his/her methods and to revise his/her objectives. It further demonstrates several interesting examples about planning and relevant worksheets. I feel I have learnt that the important thing about lesson planning is to keep it simple and flexible. As a relatively inexperienced teacher in this field, I shall write a plan for each of my intended lessons, and try and include in it briefly all the items mentioned in this lesson.
