This was a very nice and concise unit about a very important topic. I learned all of these things in detail a long time ago, and today I use it correctly without thinking bout it. However, it's important for a teacher to know the exact rules for these basic tenses, so he or she can explain students why and how to correctly use these tenses in day to day conversation. As someone who learned language as a second language I understand just how important it is to have a teacher who will make you fully and truly understand the rules. After covering this unit I can know which issue and mistakes to look for among my own students. Therefore, this unit was a very nice refresher that will definitely prove useful in teaching and lesson planning.
