Chapter five teaches us some useful tips on managing the class room. Some really good tools to use in the classroom are using eye contact, using gestures and using the students names. I found the section in establishing rapport enlightening because I feel it is important to get along well with students because it makes for a warmer classroom environment. I also for the section on classroom arrangement useful. It is important that the way the classroom is set up is useful and that the seating arrangement is conducive for teaching the students during TTT and that the student can readily work together for STT, activity, pair, or group work.
