Wow, this was a long unit with a wide range of grammar being covered. In this unit we covered nouns, adjectives, articles, verbs, adverbs, gerunds, pronouns, prepositions and conjunctions. Each topic was then broken down and looked into further. I feel that this topic really helped me understand how sentences are formed and what exactly they are made up of. Before covering this unit and by learning English as my first language there are a lot of things you just 'know' but do not know why they are like the way they are. For example articles and the rules that come with them, these are things you have embedded in your brain. It was enlightening to see how all the rules worked together and become aware of them. Overall very helpful unit which not only helped to re-jog my learning from school but also taught me a lot.
