I found most of the methodologies to be refreshing and useful when used interchangeably for lessons, time permitting though, and as I feel that even the adults get bored when lessons are monotonous and predictable, every student needs to have that extra push to motivate their minds, besides praise. Having said that, sometimes it takes a large batch of students a longer time to shift from one activity to another and I worry that, unless the lesson is two hours or so long, the bell might ring before the methods have been put into use. ESA, Patchwork,Boomerang, etc., to mention a few, are quite supportive for what a teacher wants to awaken in the students. I feel that if a few of these methods, not to mention all, should be linked in a class room with thirty students, then perhaps the time for each method should variably be lessened. A problem some teachers face is to get the young learners AND adults to move fast enough so as to achieve a satisfying end without having to postpone the lesson to the following week.
