This unit went over lessons planning. It supplied examples of lesson planning templates that were both filled out and not filled out. Additionally, it had a template for teacher self-reflection to help the teacher improve. I learned that I will need to try to be flexible and to try to closely pay attention to the interest in the students during each part of the lesson. Some aspects may take longer than expected, and some may be the opposite. I think as an inexperienced teacher, one might be too dependent on a strict schedule that they use as a crutch. This guidance helps, but I also think time will really be the key to getting better with it.
