This unit is focused on teaching special groups, as ESL teachers might find themselves confronting various types of classes troughout the course of their teaching career. More specifically the unit covers: teaching beginners (people that have 0 to little or basic knowlege of the language), teaching groups or individual, teaching young learners (children from kindergarten to elementary school) and teaching business English or English for specific purposes (hotel staff etc...). Each paragraph provides general basic information on the specific type of class and gives some useful ideas and strategies to follow and/or integrate in the lesson plans.
