Unit 20 is about troubleshooting. First lesson-first impression. New group/existing group. Try to find out students' needs, English level and difficult areas.
Use warms up. Create a friendly atmosphere; fun but short.
Different levels: different materials, same materials but different tasks; combine strong and weak students.
Large classes: different variations of work( pair, choral, dynamics)
Better to avoid using of students' native language. Clear and simple instructions may help, respond only in English, encourage.
Reluctant students. Try to encourage students, find the right motivation.
