This unit gives an overview of the proper usages of conditionals and reported speech. In this unit, the challenges for students seem rather daunting, especially regarding reported speech. Explaining what someone had said in the past requires a lot of verb tense modification, which may gave students problems. I think it would be important to emphasize during this lesson that even with a slight error in grammar accuracy, the native speaker would still understand the sentence. Otherwise the students would lack confidence and worry about proper grammar structure to the point of being reluctant to use it.
