This lesson talks about the difference between Productive skills and receptive skills. It focuses on the importance of reading and listening and how to balance both skills for a more balanced approach in teaching. The idea that reading can be used for a specific purpose or for pure entertainment and recognizing the meaning and interpretation of the text can and will have a basis on \"pre-knowledge\" either culturally or life experience. It is important o included \"pre-teaching\" aspects so that the student has a better grasp of the topics and the direction the lesson will take while learning to interpret the text and maximize their comprehension. This is meant to remove learning obstacles. Reading allows you to take your time and read the materials over again until you understand.
