This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
This unit went over conditionals and reported speech. There are four conditional forms that deal with the context and time of the situation. Zero conditional deals with the more basic if/then logic. First conditional is a less certain logic. It doesn't assume that something will occur naturally together, but that if something is to be done it will occur. Second conditional deals in the hypothetical. It deals with a past event that would have caused a change in the present or future. Third conditional also deals with the hypothetical, but deals with a past scenario that would have influenced a past outcome. Mixed conditional normally combines the second and third conditionals. There are many activities that can be used to teach conditionals, such as filling in the blank, matching, and moral dilemmas. Finally, this unit goes over changing direct speech into reported speech and how to change the tense.
