There were two lessons given to students on the same subject however the way each lesson was taught differentiates the effectiveness of the professor. In the first lesson the teacher spoke quickly and wasn't clear on many subjects throughout the lesson. This created discomfort and confusion amongst the students which led to low participation in the class from the students. In the second lesson, the teacher was friendlier, more organized and supportive. The reinforcing manner led to confidence and more participation from the students. A higher degree of understanding was also evident in the second lesson. I learned that a professor that is organized, friendly and supportive is more effective in learning than one that is not.
