In this unit is discussed how to manage the classroom in order to maintain an effective learning process. It provides different knowledge and strategies to achieve that purpose. It, also, shows many ways that, we as teachers, can use our eyes, voice and gestures to improve our teaching skills, different ways on how to organize group work and also adequate usage of the class layout. Additionally, the unit provides other strategies, such as, how to effectively give instructions, board writing skills, the importance of giving feedback and establishing rapport within the class and last, but not least, how to respond to behavior problems in the classroom environment. Overall, this unit, in my opinion provides specific tools for the teachers to improve the effectiveness of the language teaching/learning process.
