This unit was about the special kinds of groups that we as English as a second language teachers may have including groups like children and business people. It was helpful to not only learn more about the motivations and expectations of each of the groups but suggested activities and course structures for such specialized groups, for example, business groups and how to not only test their ability but to preform a needs assessment and to have them active in planning out the course while also realizing that they might be more tired and need to progress more slowly due to the fact that classes are likely after work and in their free time.
