Throughout this unit, I was refreshed on the concepts of past tense and how they work in English. I learned some new terminology and just reviewed a lot of the concepts in previous grammar courses. I learned a lot again about past perfect tense and how that functions in the context of a sentence.From this unit I have learned the importance of tailoring a lesson to the interests of students to encourage them to engage using their receptive skills. It is easy to pick a topic to teach, but it is important to create a lesson that will excite the students to maximize growth in the classroom.i learnt how the attitude of the teacher in regards to the body language,tone of voice and words can influence the student's retention and participation substantially and how to maintain the sequence of the phases linked smoothly to keep the students focused and engaged in the lesson all the time
