Personally, I have gained quite a few ideas and techniques from this course, as well as some additional grammar knowledge. Most lessons included some really creative ideas for teaching english, especially Unit 3. I learned many ideas for games and interactive activities that make class more relaxed and stimulating. I like this course's emphasis on group work and work in pairs. I hope to implement many stimulating activities and games as well as group and pair work in my classes. I also have learned that speaking the mother tongue with students is not a good idea. I will try to only speak in english, even if I know their mother tongue. I hope to use the materials from this course as a resource for ideas and techniques.
