Unit 17 discussed equipment and teaching aids. There are a lot of resources available to enrich the teaching and learning experience, such as whiteboards/blackboards, interactive whiteboards, overhead projectors, CDs, DVDs, course books, and computers. Most likely to be used frequently is the whiteboard/blackboard, and for this it will be important for me to remember to write large enough for all the students to be able to read, as well as clearly so they can understand, and to only write down the important information, as students tend to write everything they see. Overall, there a lot of different kinds of equipment and teaching aids that will be useful in the classroom, and it will be important for me to ensure I use them effectively so that my students remain engaged and can learn more easily.
